About Pierrette: 

Pierrette is most fulfilled when she is working on behalf of someone else. She has a sharp wit, perspicacious mind (big word alert!), and a dark, dry humor.  She values life itself. Pier earned her PhD in English Literature with a concentration in Critical Theory in the early aughts - she finishes what she starts. The more complex the situation, the more pleasure it is for her to understand fully, to offer creative solutions, and to protect your interests to the fullest. Pierrette works hard every day, with intelligence, integrity, authenticity, transparency, and kindness. She has been a REALTOR® for a decade and the owner and broker in charge of Rouleau Real Estate Group since 2018. 

Pier has three rescued pups, a rescued feline, and spends her downtime in the yard, on a walk, planting a garden, cleaning her West Asheville cottage (her truly favorite pastime), and taking pleasure in her friends, family, and partner. She is guardian to a delightful senior citizen who is living in memory care. 

Pierrette Rouleau, PhD has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative® designation, the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® designation, and the Certified Residential Specialist® designation which is the highest credential awarded to residential sales, agents, managers and brokers. Pier lives, works, and plays in West Asheville. The NC Mountains have been home to her since 2005. She loves both the solitude of a small town and the excitement of the city, with the grandeur of the mountains as the common thread. She loves a good drive in the NC Mountains. She was a hospice volunteer caregiver to several long-term patients.
