With a per capita income just above $85,000, this upscale community ranks as the 2nd wealthiest town in the state. Beautiful Weather

Much like other mountain cities in the region, Biltmore Forest has four very unique seasons each year. It sits at higher elevation when compared to other cities in North Carolina, which means summer temperatures are slightly lower and very tolerable. In fact, during the peak of summer in July temperatures may only reach into the low 80's. Once the fall season comes around, you'll notice the mountains will begin to come alive with vivid color. The varied elevation, along with its biodiversity, gives this part of the state one of the longest fall foliage seasons in all of North America.

Great Food and Shopping

Biltmore Forest Village and the surrounding area is home to a variety of locally-owned restaurants and breweries. In fact, the Asheville region is often referred to as a "food paradise." Choose a restaurant specializing in Thai, French, Southern cuisine, or just about anything else your taste buds might be craving! Those wanting to spend the afternoon shopping will have several different malls and upscale boutiques to choose from within just a short 10 minute drive.
